Space isn’t always something you find elsewhere. Sometimes it’s sitting there already—unused, unloved, waiting. In Leatherhead, homes come in all shapes: red-brick semis, detached houses with driveways, cottages tucked along quiet roads. And in nearly all of them, there’s room to grow.
We’re builders who don’t believe in fluff. No pushy talk. No showy promises. Just proper work, done well. Whether it’s a dusty loft crying out for daylight or a kitchen that needs to double in size, we build with thought, care, and a sharp eye for how people actually live.
Most people think of the loft as a dark place where old toys go to die. But in many Leatherhead homes, it’s the answer to space you didn’t know you had.
A dormer loft conversion is a popular choice. It gives you a full-height room by adding a square extension to the roof. Plenty of headroom, real windows, and no need to shuffle sideways past the bed.
Got a house with a sloping hip roof? Then a hip-to-gable conversion can give you the width you need. It swaps the slope for a vertical wall, adding volume and making the staircase feel like it belongs.
If you want serious space and don’t mind the planning side of things, a mansard conversion is worth a look. It reshapes the roof and adds a near-flat rear wall with full-sized windows. It’s more work, but the payoff is clear.
And for those with decent loft height already, a Velux conversion might be enough. New skylights, good insulation, and a proper floor can turn the room into something liveable—without altering the roofline.
Not everyone wants to go upwards. Sometimes it makes more sense to go out the back.
Leatherhead homes, particularly those with generous gardens, often have room to extend. A rear house extension is a straightforward way to create that extra dining space, a family room, or just a kitchen that doesn’t feel like a hallway.
Got a narrow side alley? A side return extension can make something out of nothing. It fills in that dead space and gives you a layout that actually makes sense.
A wraparound extension is the full package—side and rear combined. It gives you room to breathe, cook, host, and relax, all in one connected space.
Need extra upstairs space too? A two-storey extension adds a new bedroom or bathroom while also giving you that downstairs space you’ve been missing. One project. Twice the benefit.
We know the roads, the houses, and what works in Leatherhead. We don’t guess. We build.
If you’ve run out of space in your house, you don’t have to start over somewhere else. Let us help you make the most of what you’ve already got.
